45 Bistro has been the dining room of The Marshall House hotel since 2001, the third home of a restaurant Sandy Hollander has run since the mid 1980s. Eat It and Like It reported on September 14, 2026 that it will leave the hotel when the year ends ... the last service is December 31, 2026. The hotel sold on June 1, 2026 and its new owners plan to remake the space in 2027. The team has said it hopes to reopen elsewhere in Savannah. 45 Bistro is open now and has said it will leave The Marshall House on 31 December 2026.

The indoor rooms seat up to 200 and the patio seats 18.

Jazz'd Tapas Bar

Live music runs Fridays and Saturdays ... blues, swing, jazz, classic rock and Americana ... and the bar says it plans to add more nights. Lester's calls itself a French-leaning raw bar and restaurant, with seafood at the center of the menu. The kitchen is led by Jacques Larson, culinary director of Obstinate Hospitality, who helped open The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan's Island in 2014 and is described on the site as a two-time James Beard Award nominee. It is tied to The Douglas hotel on Oglethorpe Avenue.

Marbled & Fin

Marbled & Fin opened on April 8, 2026 at the corner of Oglethorpe and Houston, the second room of a Charleston steakhouse from The Neighborhood Dining Group, which also runs Husk. Chef Jesse Kloskey's menu runs from Japanese and Australian Wagyu to a 28-ounce Porterhouse, with a raw bar and about a third of the menu given to seafood. The main dining room is upstairs with about 70 seats, there are two private rooms for 24 and 40, and The Savannahian reports the two-story building is fully ADA compliant with an elevator. There is no parking on site.

McDonough's Restaurant & Lounge

Savannah's karaoke pub. McDonough's says it has been voted best karaoke in the city for more than a decade, and it runs every day starting at 9pm. Savannah Magazine describes the shamrock green awning, two bars, 32 televisions and decades of guest photos on the walls. Visit Savannah counts 'three unique destinations under one historic roof': the bar, a steakhouse called Billy's Place and The Inn at McDonough's. The kitchen cooks until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Old Savannah Distillery Restaurant

Old Savannah Distillery opened its restaurant in April 2026, pairing a full-service Southern dining room with a tasting room for house-made flavored spirits. The menu is casual Lowcountry ... fried chicken, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, ribeye. It is owned by Historic Tours of America, the company behind Old Town Trolley Tours.

Planters Tavern at The Olde Pink House

The tavern is the cellar of The Olde Pink House on Reynolds Square. Wikipedia's entry on the house, which cites the restaurant's own history, records 'a cellar tavern, Planters Tavern, which features a single-table wine vault for special occasions', in a house begun in 1771 and finished in 1789. The house closed for four months after a ballroom fire in December 2018. Savannah Magazine readers voted The Olde Pink House the Shrimp and Grits winner in Best of Savannah 2026.

A British-style pub on Bull Street. The pub says it 'first opened more than twenty-two years ago in Savannah, Georgia' and added a second Six Pence in Blowing Rock, North Carolina in 2001. Sorry Charlie's Oyster Bar

Sorry Charlie's says its local oysters come from its own oyster farm. The building stacks three rooms ... the oyster bar at street level, a tiki bar called The Bamboo Room, and a rooftop called The Neon Fish that looks over Ellis Square. Gibbons Hall upstairs takes private parties.

Ele Tran's Savannah-born Rhino Hospitality Group took the corner of Whitaker and State, dark since New Realm Brewing left in the fall of 2022, and spent two years rebuilding it. Sunday Sunday is the all-day brunch and dinner room on the ground floor, with a small inn of about a dozen rooms upstairs. Savannah Magazine points to the banh xeo crepe and the blood orange martini.

The Collins Quarter

The Collins Quarter is the original room of a Savannah-born group that also runs Collins Quarter at Forsyth, The Fitzroy, The Deck, Ukiyo, Fishbar and Doki Doki Ice Creamery. It serves what it calls Aussie-inspired brunch and dinner, with brunch every day. Brunch is walk-in only ... the house does not take brunch reservations. Savannah Magazine readers named it the best breakfast in the city for 2026 and the runner-up for brunch.

The Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market

The Emporium is the ground-floor restaurant and wine market of the Perry Lane Hotel. The kitchen describes its menu as rooted in Southern tradition and shaped by global influence. It runs a monthly multi-course Global Table dinner on the third Thursday, a Sunday wine hour, and a Saturday market-to-table outing that starts at the Forsyth Park farmers market.

The Fitzroy

Savannah Magazine readers made it the 2026 runner-up for gluten-free options.

Treylor Park

This is the original Treylor Park, the Bay Street room that grew into a Savannah-born group with Hitch, Double Wide Diner, Pizza Party and Beach Party on Tybee, plus rooms in Florida. The bar top is made from reclaimed bowling lane wood, and there is a beer garden out back ... the site's line is business in the front with the party out back. No reservations. Savannah Magazine readers voted its fries the best in the city in 2026.

Vic's sits in an old cotton warehouse on the bluff, with a dining room that looks over the Savannah River and a patio above Factors Walk. Savannah Magazine's 2026 readers' poll named it runner-up for both shrimp and grits and waterfront dining.

Zunzibar

Zunzibar grew out of Zunzi's, the Savannah sandwich counter that lost its York Street lease and moved to Drayton Street. The Drayton address now gives most of its room to Zunzibar, a coastal restaurant and cocktail bar, with Zunzi's takeout and catering running from the same kitchen. The brand has since opened on Tybee Island and in Jupiter and Middleton, Florida, and calls Savannah 'where it started'. The patio welcomes dogs.
