1540 Room is the dining room of The DeSoto hotel on Madison Square. The name points to Hernando de Soto's expedition through the Southeast in 1540 and the spice trade that followed. Chef Collin Clemons cooks seasonal Lowcountry menus from local farms, and the hotel says he was named the city's best chef less than a year after opening. Savannah Magazine readers voted it the best fine dining room in the city for 2026.

45 Bistro has been the dining room of The Marshall House hotel since 2001, the third home of a restaurant Sandy Hollander has run since the mid 1980s. Eat It and Like It reported on September 14, 2026 that it will leave the hotel when the year ends ... the last service is December 31, 2026. The hotel sold on June 1, 2026 and its new owners plan to remake the space in 2027. The team has said it hopes to reopen elsewhere in Savannah. 45 Bistro is open now and has said it will leave The Marshall House on 31 December 2026.

Savannah Agenda reported it opened on 7 March 2025 under Harley Krinsky and Chris Godfrey, who also own Congress Street Social Club and Sorry Charlie's Oyster Bar, with food from the Sorry Charlie's kitchen. Castaways is in the Shops at Sandfly, recently renovated and built around executive chef Kirk Blaine, a Savannah native who trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. Driftaway has been in Sandfly since 2001, run by the husband-and-wife team of Robyn and Michele Quattlebaum. Savannah native Mike McMahon opened the Flying Fish in 2007 after years in the seafood business, aiming for local traditional flavors in a relaxed room. The Main Street directory posts it open until 3 a.m. every night, which makes it one of the latest kitchens-and-bars on the island by posted hours. It took part in Tybee Island Restaurant Week in August 2026.

North Beach Bar and Grill sits between the Tybee lighthouse and the beach, and Visit Tybee describes it as mere feet from the sand, a place that welcomes sandy toes. Beach Party is the Tybee room of Savannah's Treylor Park group, opened in 2024 in the building that held the Tybee Island Social Club. Cofounder Trey Wilder lived on Tybee for four years and told tybeeisland.com he did not want to lose any of the old club's character. The renovation added a bigger deck, a longer bar, more parking and a walk-up window for people coming off the beach. The patio has a sandpit for kids, and the week includes trivia on Wednesdays and live music.

Tubby's sits on River Drive in Thunderbolt, looking across at the Wilmington River where the shrimp boats dock. The kitchen is known for fried shrimp and fresh catch done grilled, fried, blackened, broiled or steamed. The week has a rhythm of its own: live music Thursday through Sunday, line dancing on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5, bingo on Wednesdays at 7. It belongs to Savannah's Live Oak Restaurant Group, which also runs Molly McGuire's on Wilmington Island.
