1540 Room

1540 Room is the dining room of The DeSoto hotel on Madison Square. The name points to Hernando de Soto's expedition through the Southeast in 1540 and the spice trade that followed. Chef Collin Clemons cooks seasonal Lowcountry menus from local farms, and the hotel says he was named the city's best chef less than a year after opening. Savannah Magazine readers voted it the best fine dining room in the city for 2026.

An inn with a dining room and a separate tavern that keeps its own hours. The inn says the tavern opens daily at 4pm and closes by 11pm, with food during kitchen hours.

208 Wine Bar

A Bay Street wine bar named for its street number. The bar adds that 208 'symbolizes manifesting wealth and abundance' and then admits, 'It's also our address.' Wednesday nights are Bubbles & Blues with singer Laiken Love, and Tuesdays bring five dollar tapas toppers. Readers voted it best wine bar in Connect Savannah (2022) and in Savannah Magazine (2026).

45 Bistro

45 Bistro has been the dining room of The Marshall House hotel since 2001, the third home of a restaurant Sandy Hollander has run since the mid 1980s. Eat It and Like It reported on September 14, 2026 that it will leave the hotel when the year ends ... the last service is December 31, 2026. The hotel sold on June 1, 2026 and its new owners plan to remake the space in 2027. The team has said it hopes to reopen elsewhere in Savannah. 45 Bistro is open now and has said it will leave The Marshall House on 31 December 2026.

Brochu's Family Tradition

Andrew and Sophie Brochu opened this room with partners Georgia and Dave Baker and Jessica Kimbrough. Andrew came back to the Southeast after more than a decade running Chicago kitchens, and Sophie is a Savannah native who came home after 13 years away ... the two met working in a Chicago restaurant. The site says the place is modeled on the family gatherings Andrew grew up with. Savannah Magazine readers named it best Oysters and runner-up for Fried Chicken in 2026. Walk-ins are welcome and it opens every day at 5.

Castaways Sandfly

Castaways is in the Shops at Sandfly, recently renovated and built around executive chef Kirk Blaine, a Savannah native who trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. The menu is seafood, wings, sandwiches and burgers with Lowcountry touches. Dogs are welcome, there is indoor and outdoor seating, and solo acts and small bands play. Its line is 'Where Everyone is Family'.

Fishbar

Fishbar opened in December 2025 in the former Squirrel's Pizza space, a few doors from its sister room Ukiyo. Owner Anthony Debreceny of Southern Cross Hospitality first planned another pizzeria because the oven was still there, then the team turned it toward wood-fired seafood plates. Chef Charles Alexander runs the kitchen and Maren Gudmondsson the bar. Savannah Magazine readers voted it best New Restaurant in 2026. Guests can use a monitored private lot at 2302 Bull Street.

La Vetta

La Vetta opened on August 17, 2026 as the eighth restaurant from Southern Cross Hospitality, the Savannah group behind The Collins Quarter, The Fitzroy, Ukiyo and Fishbar. Executive chef Michele Minchillo comes from Puglia; his former restaurant Vitium in Cremona, Italy held a Michelin star. Savannah's Studio THO designed the room, with a blue sky gradient painted by local muralists Hugo Aguilera and Adolfo Alvarado and an 18-seat bar. An underground cocktail lounge called V and a private room for 50 were announced as coming.

Lester's

Lester's calls itself a French-leaning raw bar and restaurant, with seafood at the center of the menu. The kitchen is led by Jacques Larson, culinary director of Obstinate Hospitality, who helped open The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan's Island in 2014 and is described on the site as a two-time James Beard Award nominee. It is tied to The Douglas hotel on Oglethorpe Avenue.

Marbled & Fin

Marbled & Fin opened on April 8, 2026 at the corner of Oglethorpe and Houston, the second room of a Charleston steakhouse from The Neighborhood Dining Group, which also runs Husk. Chef Jesse Kloskey's menu runs from Japanese and Australian Wagyu to a 28-ounce Porterhouse, with a raw bar and about a third of the menu given to seafood. The main dining room is upstairs with about 70 seats, there are two private rooms for 24 and 40, and The Savannahian reports the two-story building is fully ADA compliant with an elevator. There is no parking on site.
