1540 Room is the dining room of The DeSoto hotel on Madison Square. The name points to Hernando de Soto's expedition through the Southeast in 1540 and the spice trade that followed. Chef Collin Clemons cooks seasonal Lowcountry menus from local farms, and the hotel says he was named the city's best chef less than a year after opening. Savannah Magazine readers voted it the best fine dining room in the city for 2026.
An inn with a dining room and a separate tavern that keeps its own hours. The inn says the tavern opens daily at 4pm and closes by 11pm, with food during kitchen hours.

45 Bistro has been the dining room of The Marshall House hotel since 2001, the third home of a restaurant Sandy Hollander has run since the mid 1980s. Eat It and Like It reported on September 14, 2026 that it will leave the hotel when the year ends ... the last service is December 31, 2026. The hotel sold on June 1, 2026 and its new owners plan to remake the space in 2027. The team has said it hopes to reopen elsewhere in Savannah. 45 Bistro is open now and has said it will leave The Marshall House on 31 December 2026.

A three-level British pub on Bay Street: a basement room called Winston's Wine Cellar, a wood-paneled street-level bar and what the pub calls 'Savannah's first open-air rooftop terrace.' Savannah Magazine notes live music on Fridays and Saturdays and a house Cobblestone Lager. Happy hour runs 3pm to 6pm, Sunday to Friday.

Local 11ten cooks Southern food in a restored 1950s-era bank a block south of Forsyth Park, using Georgia coast seafood and vegetables and herbs from Savannah-area farmers. Upstairs is Perch, its rooftop bar, open when the weather allows. Visit Savannah lists a private dining room for up to 40.
Perch is the rooftop bar above Local 11 Ten, which the restaurant says occupies 'the restored 1950's-era downtown bank'. It is open only when the weather allows. It sits on the same block as the American Legion bar, Betty Bombers and Brighter Day.

The hotel describes it as a 'rooftop conservatory' pouring 'botanical cocktails and international street food' with 'sprawling views of Savannah's historic district and the sweeping skies.' Pier 16 is a family-owned seafood restaurant that opened in September 2020, one block from the beach. Visit Tybee describes two outdoor decks and a rooftop bar looking over Tybrisa Street, with cornhole and giant Jenga. The menu runs from Georgia shrimp and fresh fish to USDA Prime steak, and the listing says it serves in biodegradable cups, straws and to-go boxes.
The rooftop bar above River Street at what is now Hotel Orielle ... the hotel says it was 'formerly the Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront.' Visit Savannah describes 'sweeping Savannah River views with creative cocktails, a firepit to gather around, and an open-air setting.' Savannah Magazine readers voted it best cocktails back in 2017.
Sorry Charlie's says its local oysters come from its own oyster farm. The building stacks three rooms ... the oyster bar at street level, a tiki bar called The Bamboo Room, and a rooftop called The Neon Fish that looks over Ellis Square. Gibbons Hall upstairs takes private parties.
The Fitzroy is a dinner room just off Bay Street with a rooftop the site invites guests to sit on in the sun, and it takes private events.
The Grove calls itself a 'sophisticated casual restaurant & rooftop bar' in City Market and a 'Savannah home away from home.' It serves Southern-leaning lunch and dinner, then stays open as a bar until 3am on Friday and Saturday.

The rooftop bar on top of Sorry Charlie's Oyster Bar, with table seating and, in the venue's words, 'great views of Ellis Square.' It opens mid afternoon on weekdays and at 10am on weekends.
The rooftop bar on the Cotton Sail Hotel. It has two ways in: the hotel lobby at 126 W. Bay Street on the bluff, or an elevator from 125 W. River Street down on the cobblestones.
